Using UEFI BIOS Updater

  • Download the latest version of UEFI BIOS Updater from the developer’s website.
  • Extract the downloaded archive to a folder on your computer.
  • Locate the BIOS file for your motherboard. Typically this file has the extension .bin or .rom.
  • Rename the BIOS file to bios.bin and copy it to the UBU folder.
  • Double-click the UBU.bat file to launch the UEFI BIOS updater.
  • Click the “Upload Image” button and select the bios.bin file that you copied to the UBU folder.
  • UEFI BIOS Updater will download the BIOS image and display detailed information about the BIOS.
  • Check for any warnings or errors in the log window.
  • If everything looks fine, click the “Flash Image” button to update the BIOS.
  • Wait for the BIOS update process to complete. This may take several minutes, and your computer may restart several times during the process.
  • Once the BIOS update is complete, restart your computer and check the BIOS version to make sure it was updated successfully.

Please note that updating your BIOS can be a risky process, so it is important to proceed with caution and ensure you have a backup of your current BIOS before attempting to update it.
